Work Experience Programme

Amdas Training is a specialist division within Amdas Education focusing on providing bespoke services to schools and colleges, including work experience programmes and sourcing learners for Apprenticeship and Traineeship referrals for all ages between 16 and 64 years of age.


Over the years, we have developed a range of services that offers links between industry, employability and education creating opportunities backed by progression routes into different careers sectors. We work with our partners to assist in improving aspirations and achievement of the learner.

We are able to support our clients for work experience programmes by providing options such as an embedded managed service on our client’s site or, alternatively, providing work experience placements from our offsite team. For both options we source placements, provide a full student matching service for students, and perform Health and Safety checks.


We are able to provide commercial up-skilling by the introduction of work placements for college staff to enhance their commercial awareness and understanding of the work experience undertaken by their students. This will also increase their ability to network with employers, gain contacts and provide them with current industry experience to support them to set relevant course assignments and work.

Our success in this field is our ability to work within the different client settings, building professional relationships independent of whether we are on site or working remotely. It is essential that our educational clients, school, colleges and universities, can trust our teams to represent them professionally to companies, parents, colleagues and students.


In conjunction with this programme, we can offer employability workshops for students delivered onsite. These are prepared in consultation with your team and include the messaging and preparation for the students for their work placement activities.


We have found them invaluable to enable preparation across a wide range of topics as shown below. They are highly customised to the particular work placement programme and are usually delivered in the class room by an Employability Trainer to cohorts of students and linked closely to the work placement programme. We respect that your existing team may have this programme in place already using their own Careers Division however we would be delighted to discuss this as part of the provision if required:
